Bethsaida Healthcare Wins Clinical Ecosystem Award in Indonesia

Bethsaida Healthcare Named Best Clinical Ecosystem in Indonesia at Regional Awards

The Jakarta-based healthcare provider has won prestigious recognition at Healthcare Asia Awards 2026 for its integrated patient care model spanning hospitals, clinics, and wellness services.

Bethsaida Healthcare has secured the "Clinical Ecosystem of the Year – Indonesia" award at the Healthcare Asia Awards 2026, cementing its position as a leader in Indonesia's evolving healthcare landscape. The award was presented on March 26, 2026, at a ceremony held in Singapore.

The Healthcare Asia Awards represents one of the region's most rigorous benchmarking programs, evaluating hospitals and healthcare institutions across Asia based on innovation, service excellence, digital transformation, patient safety, and broader societal health impact. Selection for the awards reflects demonstrated, measurable progress in healthcare development—a distinction that reflects changing priorities in how Asian healthcare systems measure success.

An Integrated Model Reshaping Patient Care

What distinguishes Bethsaida's approach is its "integrated clinical ecosystem"—a coordinated network connecting multiple service points including hospitals, primary care clinics, wellness centres, diagnostic laboratories, and pharmaceutical services. Rather than fragmented healthcare delivery, patients navigate a continuous system designed to address prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery under one organizational framework.

Norman Daulay, CEO of Bethsaida Healthcare, framed the achievement as representative of a broader industry shift. "This award reflects a fundamental shift in healthcare, from fragmented services to an integrated clinical ecosystem," he said in remarks following the announcement.

"At Bethsaida Healthcare, we have built a service network that connects prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery into a comprehensive and continuous patient journey."

Infrastructure Across Jakarta and Western Java

Bethsaida operates multiple facilities serving Indonesia's most populous regions. These include Bethsaida Hospital Gading Serpong in North Jakarta, Bethsaida Hospital Serang serving Banten Province, outpatient clinics, and Seraphim Medical Center. This geographic footprint positions the organization to serve both metropolitan patients and those in surrounding regions.

The award carries broader significance for Indonesia's healthcare sector, which has faced long-standing challenges around healthcare access, quality standardization, and coordination between public and private providers. Recognition at an international level suggests that domestic institutions are developing sophisticated responses to these structural issues.

Implications for Indonesia's Healthcare Sector

Healthcare integration remains relatively underdeveloped in many Southeast Asian markets, where patients typically navigate separate, uncoordinated systems for different services. Indonesia, with over 275 million people and significant disparities in healthcare access between urban and rural areas, has been experimenting with integrated models to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Daulay emphasized that the award resulted from collective organizational effort across all medical and administrative personnel, highlighting that healthcare excellence depends on coordinated teamwork rather than isolated clinical achievements.

"We are honoured to represent Indonesia on the international stage and will continue striving to enhance healthcare standards in the future," he stated.
