BK Creative Hub, which officially launched on 19 June 2026, represents a significant addition to Bali's creative landscape, offering a refreshing approach to how art is experienced and shared with the public.

Founded by Alexa Genoyer—an entrepreneur, artist, and hotelier known for her Blue Karma boutique properties across Bali—the hub transforms her digital platform, Lucid Dream Art, into a physical space. The concept reflects a broader philosophy: that creativity can serve as a bridge, reconnecting people with themselves, their communities, and local culture.

What's Inside: Exhibition Spaces and Interactive Experiences

The 250-square-metre venue features two main exhibition spaces, The Cube 1 and The Cube 2, designed to showcase contemporary artworks in an intimate setting. But BK Creative Hub is far more than a traditional gallery. The space incorporates interactive workshop studios including "Sensual Clay" and sensory experiences, alongside an Art Café where food and colour become integrated elements of the creative journey.

The current headline exhibition, "Monkey Spirit," features 35 original works by Indonesian artist Ade Habibie. The collection uses the monkey—a symbol deeply embedded in Indonesian and Hindu-Buddhist tradition—as a playful vehicle for exploring fundamental human experiences: emotion, instinct, and vulnerability. This thematic choice resonates particularly in Bali, where monkeys feature prominently in local mythology and daily life.
