ARYADUTA Bali Supports Street Kids Through Community Initiative

ARYADUTA Bali Spreads Joy to Street Kids with Community-Focused Initiative

A local Kuta hotel is putting its corporate values into action, reaching beyond its guest rooms to support vulnerable children in Bali's communities. ARYADUTA Bali recently visited the Bali Street Kids shelter in Padangsambian as part of its "Tjakap Djiwa" campaign, a wellness initiative emphasizing human connection and emotional well-being.

More Than Charity: A Focus on Connection

The visit went beyond typical charity work. ARYADUTA team members spent time engaging directly with the shelter residents through games, dancing, and singing—creating what the hotel describes as "meaningful moments" rather than transactional assistance.

According to Gladys Monica, ARYADUTA Bali's Marketing & Communication Manager, the goal extends deeper than material support.

"Through this initiative, we hope they feel seen and valued, and that they are reminded of their preciousness. We want to encourage them to never give up and to continue chasing their dreams, one step at a time. Sometimes, even a small moment of attention and care can make a meaningful difference."

Supporting Education and Creative Development

The Bali Street Kids shelter provides residential support for children who participate in sponsored education programs extending through high school, with potential continuation into tertiary studies. Beyond academics, residents engage in cultural and artistic activities including Balinese dance, modern dance, singing, and arts and crafts.

During the May visit, ARYADUTA Bali supplied grocery items and individual care packages to supplement the shelter's daily operations—a practical contribution to institutional sustainability.

Wellness Redefined

The "Tjakap Djiwa" campaign reflects a broader philosophy about wellness that extends beyond physical health. The hotel positions emotional connection, empathy, and shared happiness as core components of genuine well-being—concepts increasingly relevant in corporate social responsibility discussions across Asia's hospitality sector.
